Pottery Wheel Experience required. Participants should be able to center and throw about 2-3 lbs of clay.
This class is not suitable for people new to pottery.
Priced per person. Ages 18+
This class will demonstrate making a teapot over the course of two days. We will throw the body on the wheel, then make the spout, lid, handle and teapot body, and assemble the various components to make a finished teapot.
All clay and supplies will be provided. Each participant can expect to have a teapot at the end of class. If you are not a member at Café au Clay, we will fire and glaze your teapot white, you can pick it up after the bisque firing or you can join one of our add on glaze classes to glaze yourself.
Cancellations and Changes:
We understand that plans sometimes change. While we’re unable to offer refunds or credits for missed classes or workshops, we’ll always do our best to make the process clear and simple.
Cancellations made 7 or more days before the start date are eligible for a refund minus a $30 administration fee.
If you can’t attend, you’re welcome to gift your spot to a friend — just let us know who will be joining us in your place.
Any changes to a scheduled class, workshop, or event are subject to a $30 administration fee.
