Slip Casting Workshop - Thursday October 1st 2026 6pm - 8pm

Thursday, October 1st - 6pm - 8pm - will end earlier if everyone finishes.

Café au Clay welcomes SIND studios to present a slip casting workshop.

The workshop lasts about 1.5 hours. During the session, each participant creates two small porcelain cups and one small plate using plaster molds and colored porcelain slip. Dima begins with a demonstration of the process, shares a few techniques for creating unique patterns, and then guides participants throughout the workshop while everyone works at their own pace.

We provide everything needed, including the molds, porcelain slip, coloured slips, and all tools and materials. After the workshop, we take the pieces back to our studio for drying, glazing, and kiln firing, and return the finished work about 1-2 weeks later.

Changes and Cancellations

We understand that plans sometimes change. While we’re unable to offer refunds or credits for missed classes or workshops, we’ll always do our best to make the process clear and simple.

Cancellations made 7 or more days before the start date are eligible for a refund minus a $30 administration fee.

If you can’t attend, you’re welcome to gift your spot to a friend — just let us know who will be joining us in your place.

Any changes to a scheduled class, workshop, or event are subject to a $30 administration fee.
