That means, if you need something leather hard or bisque, you should plan to bring the items at this stage. We do have bisqued items for sale. For slip decorating on wet pieces, you can create in class, however, this will not be part of the instruction.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eIn this class students will learn to use coloured slips and a range of decorating techniques to create vibrant and textured surfaces. In week one, we will cover wet slip application on freshly made items (made in class or brought in); week two will cover slip trailing and underglazing on firmer clay (have leather hard work ready). In week three, students will need a piece of bisque fired work to practice mock-majolica overglazing.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eStudents can use practice time to trim or create other work.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003eParticipants need minimum one term of ceramics classes and have some experience with glazing and decorating.
