Let's do some raku!
Each participant will bring 6 medium sized bisqued items. Glazes and firing will be provided as part of the workshop.
Once we have all our participants registered, we will contact you and provide more information about carpooling, what to bring and how to get in touch with the Shadbolt to register with them as well.
Some tips and FAQs
You can use a cone 6 clay, reclaim, or plainsman is fine.
Pieces will not be food safe - avoid mugs and plates
Pieces must be bisque and waxed ahead of time
Participants should wear 100% cotton clothing, long sleeves and long pants/jeans that will protect their legs and arms from hot temperatures. Long hair should be tied back, and it is helpful to have a bandana or a baseball hat covering your head. Sandals or flip-flops are not allowed, closed toed shoes only.
Cancellations:
Sadly we cannot offer a refund on purchased or missed workshops. If your class is 7 or more days from beginning, we can switch you to another class if available or move you to a future event. You can also gift the class to someone to take your place. Any change of class, attendee or schedule will incur $30 administration fee.
