Glaze Making Introductory 4 Weeks Wednesdays OCT 18- NOV 8 6:00 - 8:30pm 2023

This four week workshop will introduce students to the basics of assembling, testing and understanding glaze recipes. Students will learn why materials melt (or don’t!) and strategies for adjusting glaze results. Each participant will leave with 500 grams of their own glaze and the skills required to further explore the infinite world of glaze chemistry.

While there is no skill prerequisite for this class, the curriculum best suits those with access to a ceramics studio and their own ongoing practice.

Please bring a high quality mask to wear during class. We recommend a minimum of N95 mask up to a custom fitted respirator.

Sadly we cannot offer a refund on purchased or missed classes. If your class is 7 or more days from beginning, we can switch you to another class if available or move you to a future event. You can also gift the class to someone to take your place. Any change of class, attendee or schedule will incur $30 administration fee.
